- Hey, kid, wake up and stop dreaming. Let’s go! Get up from that log and come help me!

Said Chuck, with a firm tone of voice, making clear how impatient he was.

- Calm down, I’m already going to help you.

George replied as he stood up. His hands briefly beat each other in an attempt to clear the little land that had accumulated there. He knew Chuck was cranky, but that day, the older man managed to outdo himself.

The man was taking the feed for the cows to eat in the stable and wanted George to help him, but Chuck just kept complaining. In his view, the boy did nothing: he only ate, slept, and kept walking back and forth. If he was your son, he’d have gotten a lot to learn not to be lazy.

The eldest was so immersed in his thoughts that he ended up banging his own head at the entrance of the stable, so that everything he carried with him was against the ground. Upon witnessing such a scene, George could not contain himself and soon began to laugh. Chuck, who was already mumbling, looked enraged at the boy, and said:

- You’re to blame for it, you twat! I’m going to get you!

Immediately he stood up and began to run towards the young man. However, George did not stop. Because he was younger and had a better physical size compared to Chuck, he moved quickly, being able to be compared to a rocket while jumping on the trunks, swerved away from small bushes, passed through the fences and climbed the walls in an attempt to escape the hands of the old man, who, however much he was also running, could not reach him. How could he run like that?

Looking around, looking for a way to get away, the boy quickly climbed into a tree near the sty. I’m sure if you stayed there, Chuck would hardly find him. As soon as Chuck reached the sty, his eyes went through the place to see if the boy would be hiding somewhere.

- Where is this boy? I’m going to get him!

His hands rested on his hips, while whispering to himself.

He had not realized that George was in the tree, on top of a very thick and strong branch, holding a thick rope responsible for holding a tire. Then, seeing him looking for himself, he let go of the improvised swing, which quickly went in Chuck’s direction. The man only had time to shout at what the object collided with his body, throwing it into the sty.

George, no matter how hard I tried, I wouldn’t stop laughing. Soon after, Chloe entered the building and, as soon as she noticed Chuck, turned to the man lying on the ground.

- Don’t you think you’re too big to play in the mud? Although you look like a very cute little pig.

Chloe and George kept laughing at the scene, but Grandma Bea, confused by all the noise coming from the scene, went there and, when faced with the scene, said:

- “George, get down from that tree before you fall. Go get your grandfather in the river, he’s been fishing for a long time.

The boy then went to the river of heaven — as it was called — which was next to the farm. When he arrived he saw his grandpa Ben fishing. George approached the grizzled man slowly, afraid to end up scaring away the fish.

Grandpa Ben, Grandma’s calling you.

- I’m going, my grandson. — It was at that moment that the fishing rod began to pull heavily, indicating that a fish had hooked the hook.

- Eita! I got a peck! Help me, George, let’s get this big fish! Then the two, together, managed to pull a large fish and then came back euphoric to show it to Grandma Bea.

The next day, George had arrived at the school very attentive. The boy looked to one side and the other, looking for Tony and his colleagues, who were willing to catch him. During the break, he also couldn’t notice anything, everything seemed calm, so he was relaxed, as he thought, If I haven’t found them yet, I can avoid them throughout the morning.

However, at the time of departure, he came across Tony and his company in front of the living room door.

Fear took hold of his being, urging him to run, in a failed attempt to escape. Tony was known to have several friends, and none of them liked George, so they had probably already planned that little trap to corner the boy, since each of them, in pairs, had closed all possible exits. Realizing that he had been cornered, George realized that he could only do one thing: fight.

- I told you weren’t going to escape! Did you really think I wouldn’t catch you?

He questioned as he approached with his hands in the pocket of his pants. He could be seen as a wolf trying to capture his prey, which in this case would be the young boy in front of him.

- Know that in this school, I am the boss. This time, you will receive a lesson you will never forget.

Tony rubbed his fist in his hand with that toothless smile on his lips and, in a quick motion, punched George in the belly. Feeling the strong impact, the boy bent his body forward with his hands on his belly, it was at that moment that another punch hit his face. Unable to bear that pain, his body fell to the ground.

- Hey, get up! Get up, you weakling hillbilly!

While humiliating him, one could hear the laughter of his partners, who took the opportunity to tell George all sorts of offense.

However, despite the pain he felt in his body, George did not give up. That situation couldn’t end that way. Therefore, the boy rose slowly because to his willpower, which gave him enough courage to rise.

- I told you I’m not a hillbilly, you toothless, he said, with some difficulty.

When they heard George’s voice, everyone who watched the scene stopped laughing. The angry gaze of the young — who had hitherto fallen — remained fixed on the aggressor in front of him, but another kick hit him. This time it was Vick who caught him off guard. George was thrown so far that he didn’t even have the strength to try to get up again. Finding the situation funny, everyone laughed again.

- He’s really a weakling. I knew these hillbillies are nothing. Leave him there, tomorrow we’ll have some more fun. Tony’s voice hovered in the air and then he was gone being followed by his friends.

After everyone left, one person slowly approached the boy, who moaned in pain. She stooed down by his side to turn to herself. A surprised sigh came out of her lips when she noticed that he had his face dirty with blood. Without taking too long, she tried to pick up a little cloth to clean.

- Are you ok? — questioned, with concern.

George thought he was alone there, but from what it seemed, he had made a mistake. His eyes opened carefully and, although his vision was blurry, he was able to recognize that voice: it was the same voice as the girl before, the one who had given him a hint on how to escape from school. The boy closed his eyes several times, trying to see better to be sure, however, she just said:

- Wait here, I’ll going to ask for help.

She got back up and ran out for help. To his surprise, only took a few minutes for several adults to get where he was. But to his sadness, the girl was no longer there.

After explaining the situation and telling Inspector Any that Tony and his friends had beaten him, the Inspector Any same took George to the farm herself in her car. His grandparents stayed surprised to see the inspector’s car on the farm, but when they saw their grandson completely injured getting out of the vehicle, they quickly approached worried and questioned what had happened. The inspector told George’s grandparents everything and said she’d take care of the boys who hurt him.

Shortly after she left, Grandma Bea immediately went to take care of her grandson. He was very distressed, and although the boy claimed she was better, those words were not enough to calm the older woman’s heart.

A few hours after the incident, George went to Sky River [CMR1] to be a little bit alone. He was sitting looking at the clear water of that current, lost in his own thoughts. The image of your grandmother worried about you didn’t come out of his head, needed to get stronger and knew it, otherwise how would he defend himself? How would he react if they came to assault him one more time? Still with his back resting on the trunk of the tree, he took another stone and threw it towards the river.

- I need to be stronger — he spoke for nothing while getting up, the determination in his words was clear. With this, he walked until he was away from the tree and spun his heels, facing the plant, at a considerable distance.

Then, without thinking twice, George began to run, getting closer and closer to the strain. Seeing that he was close enough, the boy raised his fist and punched the rigid trunk of the tree, eventually letting out a cry of pain.

- Argh! — The knots of his fingers had become reddish because of the impact however, he closed his fists again and began to punch the hard structure repeatedly, without even caring about the pain. He wasn’t sure if such determination was due to the anger he was feeling, or by his own design.

- I get back at you, Tony… He whispered, between teeth.

Meanwhile, somewhere in the universe…

On a ship that roamed hyperspace, there were someone who had never been seen before. They dialogued with each other, passing coordinates from one to the other.

Have you located our next target yet?

Yes, chief.

And what will it be this time?

– It is home to millions of species of living beings, including humans, known as “planet Earth”.

That’s all right. I’m going to rest. When we’re there, wake me up. Be ready.

- Yes, sir, replied the other, putting his hand on the left side of his chest and briefly lowering his head, making clear his respect for the chief.

Who are these who target Earth? What do they want?
